The Canon to Saints Joachim and Anna is served every Tuesday night at 7:00 PM throughout the year.
The exception is during Great Lent when there are other services on this night.
This Canon is served especially for all women who are pregnant, for their health and safe delivery, and for all childless couples who desire to have a child.
We also commemorate those who are ill, etc. If you know of anyone who would like to be commemorated at this service, submit their name(s), and the purpose of the commemoration. If the woman is pregnant then indicate the month she is to give birth. We will remove her name after she delivers her child. For those couples who are childless, notify us when the wife becomes pregnant so we can then commemorate her for her health and safe delivery. If you would like to receive a small bottle of oil from the lamp that burns before the icon of St. Anna please so state in your note. This oil is used to anoint the individual who is pregnant or ill.
